I remember when his hair was actually Red.  He's always come up with interesting articles and I would wait for his stuff to show, even when Charles Kuralt was Sunday Morning's star.  Geist is the sophisticated, self-deprecating, counter-personality to Allen Funt.  He's not playing tricks, but is showing the vulnerabilities of the American public as he examines the intricate points of interest in our society.
