If I mount a spur drive and position a peeler just right.... smiley_headscratch

Very nice! My lathe only has a 3/4 HP motor and I still have trouble bogging it down.  I bought it three years ago and never thought I'd outgrow it...but that 14" swing feels pretty restrictive right now.  24" sounds about right ;D ;D ;D

Not exactly, I'll still need a jointer, planer, table saw, and drill press before I upgrade the lathe...just sayin'... ;D ;)

Some guys just have no ambition :D  Especially me, I'm more of an armchair critic :)  I'll just sit here and throw ideas out.  It's too DanG warm in Georgia anyway.

Just tonight I was listening to a Louis Armstrong album.  One of the songs is called "Gone Fishin'."  The first line is, "I'm not lazy, I was just born with a lack of ambition." :D

Not too hot here.  It hasn't been above 40 degrees this week, and we did get an inch of snow on Monday :)

Hey, we got the same weather up here. About 40 is as warm as it gets, most have been hovering around 35F. Another mild one for tomorrow and I think rain. We only have an inch of snow on the ground here. On steeper west facing slopes, nothing.
