Burlkraft is right, your clothes will end up more wrinkly than they started with boards that ripply :D.  Maybe you can iron your quilts on them ;D ;)

You should be able to get higher grit paper at an autobody supply shop. (Carquest, Napa, AutoValue)

the quilt pic is for the woodworkers/loggers wives..took nearly 45 yards of fabric..texa king 120 inches square/machine quilted 8)..who says i cant multi-task... :D

He didn't sand and polish it enough then. When that's done up right that ripple is more optical than real. :D

Finer sandpaper is as easy as a stop to a auto paint store or well
stocked auto parts store.  Hand paper is available up to 2500 grit.

With the funny looking sander pad, 3000 grit can be had.

I use mostly auto sand paper because it's on emery cloth and doesn't rip up in 30 seconds.  :D :D Softer woods like butternut and W pine are easier to sand with paper backed sand paper.

yup,very figurey stuff..might have to hold on to a few boards for platters,hard to find that much figure going all the way thru :o..few and far bewteen
