I have a C7 Homelite that has been an excellent saw until recently.  The had a cracked fuel line so I replaced it, now it will not run properly.  I can pour fuel in the carb. and it will run fine for a short time however, fuel will not feed through the fuel line.  I have replaced the filter and cleaned the fuel tank, any help will be appreciated.  Thanks...

Must be something in the air, I tried to start my small push mower last night same thing, then the leaf blower.................. weird ::)

Make sure the new line is fitting tight where it is attached to the carb if it is not it will suck air in stead of gas. a small piece of wire twisted on the line may help.

Also if the fuel pump is weak it may not pickup gas with a empty line and carb where it use to with a full system, it may be time for a cleaning or carb kit, and don't forget to check the vac / pulse hole in the cylinder some times it gets plugged an needs to be cleaned out making sure the piston is not in the way so it does not get damaged.
