WM TVS installed in AUS, with pics

Hello all. A couple of piccs of the new Woodmizer, AWMV, TVS or twin vertical saw. Installed in a customers mill it has just been fired up this week. More pics to come as we put the rest of the jigsaw together.
It will be predominantly cutting small radiata pine log as a breakdown for a single head resaw.

I was tallking with Mark on thursday night hes very happy with it and looking forward to geting it into full swing  ;D 8) they are a nice looking unit and i was supprised to find that the setworks can work on the fly which will be good in unsorted logs  ;) is mark putting in a roundabout syst on the outfeed to bring the wing boards and cants back for a 90 deg resaw before going to the awmv single head   ???

DTR,nice looking setup what do you use for bands??Is their a good band manuf. down under or do they have to come across the deep lake.Surely a setup like that deserves the best in sharp and set equip.Frank C.

Frank. Plan is to start with silvertips, and resharpen them. Two sharpens then bin them. It uses the 184" Lt70 length blade, in this case in 10deg. We import all of the WM gear anyway, plus spares and blades so having extra blades on hand for the TVS is not a real issue.

Chris. plan is to recirc the product until; it is all gone, with the resulting 3 sided cants heading over to the resaw for sizing. Roundabout is the plan as soon as we can get time to built it.
