Yesterday was our opening day here in Missouri, and ya just gotta love it right?  Well, back in 09' a tornado wiped out my Aunt and Uncles place, which resulted in their relocation. He owned just shy of 400 acres of great deer hunting hardwoods. Well the new landowner, a large land owner used this for his employee's now. As you would guess, just at 4 pm when they start working back my way, like clock work every year, the 3rd armored division let loose.  I only hunt my 40 on this side of the black top when the wind is from the west so there I was, perfect wind with an empty draw and ridge, gotta love it right? they were legal, just no luck for me yesterday.
only have a few chain saws I'm not suppose to use, but will at times, one dog Dolly, pretty good dog, just not sure what for yet,  working on getting the gardening back in order, and kinda thinking on maybe a small bbq bizz,  thinking about it,

I've had turkey hunters shoot towards the house.  ::)  Than I posted the land on the road side, and they shoot at a turkey between the signs.  ::) Posted land is kinda like locks on a house, just keeps out the honest ones.
I have a woods road that turn into my driveway. Hunters get lost and follow the road out,and walk about 10 feet from my house and than they wonder why I get mad at them for it.

I worked for a heli logging company in a previous life, the bush got downright scary in the fall. We drove into one area that was crawling with hunters, one stopped to ask if we had seen any moose. I told him you gotta be kidding, any left alive are not sticking their noses out. I am truly amazed more people don't get shot.
Growing up our fence formed part of the city boundary. Dad was on the roof installing storm windows when he got a tail full of bird shot, he fell off the roof but was not seriously hurt. The moron was on the other side of the fence but the pheasant was between him and the house. He had not asked permission from the land owner so we never did locate the jerk.
