084 parts help

Looks like my 84 is needing a new piston and cylinder, any help on locating the parts is appreciated.  Any ideas on who out there might have them on the shelf.

Probabley a large Stihl dealer in the PNW . :D Oh boy that helps a lot .

Unlike the smaller saws .046-66 038 mag etc there doesn't seem to be much  in 084 stuff other than oem . You might E-bay some stuff .

I hate to be the bearer of Bad News. But look at the first 4 numbers of the stihl number in that auction. That isnt no 084 aftermarket p+c kit IMO. 

That kit you listed is only off by 75cc or so of fitting the 122cc saw. Plus it is over priced for a 260 kit, those can be had for $89.

I saw that same thing too .You have to be carefull on E-bay .People will use multiple headlines to get the item listed in several portions of the site . Always carefully read the actual desciption of the article that is for sale to save any disappointment .
