Setting up a frick00 and the mill ran with a truck rearend with a belt pulley at the pinion and a chain sprocket at the axle. Mounted over the mill. Chain ran like all chains I ever seen, down under the mill out to make a pile and returned over the mill.
I'm going to try to use a commercial garage door gear box down below the husk and run the chain all completly under the mill. I'll mount the belt pulley on the gearbox on drive side and the chain sprocket on the other and just past the back of the mill put a idler pulley to keep the chains apart. Hopefully this will keep some of the dust out my eyes from up top and I don't have to worry about the chain breaking and falling in the sawblade.   Any comments or exsperiances?
