Well,  I ment to get back out to the mill last evening and take the water tank off and run straight WW fluid through the LumbMizer.  But I plum fogot.  The tank did have some WW fluid in it but this morning it was slush.  So I turned the LubeMizer off and we sawed without it all morning.  In the afternoon it had warmed up to well above freezing so at the end of the workday, I took the tank off flushed the system with WW fluid and brought the tank to the house.

Anyway,  I forgot again but at least I didn't screw up and turn it on while it was frozen or slushed up.   :-\

Experience makes one catch on really fast..... :) Especially "bought" experience..... :D

Mine quit pumping this morning.  I think that there is a leak in the suction plumbing somewhere and it is getting air.  I'll have to hose the sawdust out so that I can look for it.  Just another opportunity.  I gotta replace my brake shoe also.

I just put on a new strainer assembly, they don't tolerate the freezing as well as the pump.

I've had one freeze up in the past 6 years.   I used washer fluid without reading the small print.  Only good to 32°  >:( .  I broke the 'T' fitting on the front end of the pump.   Cost $1.45 to fix.     Now I make sure I read the small print and buy the -20° stuff.   I also disconnect the hose from the tank and run the pump until nothing is coming out of the spray nozzles.
Been there, done that.   Never got caught [/b]
