Not really for Christmas but a gift anyway.

I have been given some what I can only assume are bandmill wheels and a motor. I have seen a bandsaw cutting, (customdave) but have never looked inside one.

The two big wheels are about 18.5 inches in diameter, one has a yellow plastic band around it. I don't know if the other wheel is missing the band or does not require one. The small wheel label seems to indicate that it is a brake. Bearing in one wheel but not the other.

The motor is 1725 rpm 10hp single phase says it draws 40 amps.
Everything is new and not rusty!

I started building a swing mill a couple years ago.... nuf said!
I built a walking beam 27 foot long 42" between the rails trailer for the saw. I think it will be perfect with the addition of a 1/4 inch edge for the saw to guide on.

There are a couple other pictures in the gallery.
I really liked the design of the lumbersmith and may try to recreate it. It will weigh more than their 150 lbs though.

Had not given the power cord much thought. I did get some huge armored cabling when our hospital was renovated. I cannot carry it.
Do you know if that drive wheel is supposed to have a covering on it like the yellow on the idle wheel?

I have looked close at the wheels. There are no markings... Anybody recognize them?
