I have a question/ My local Husqvarna dealer has a new 435 with a 16BC.My old Husqvarna model 36 in the retirement stages. My query is this saw the real McCoy or just a re badged Poulan? My 445 is great but the 435 would make my collection near complete. I thought about the Stihl 211 but the price stopped me. Any help wood be appriciated, Ken

I've heard the 435 runs good, it's a little over 40cc not 35 that Husky has it numbered at. It's still home owneer construction but a lot better than Poulan based models.   Steve

The 435 have earned a pretty good reputation, for a small "homeowner" saw - and is made in Sweden.

It is not a "great" saw though, and never was meant to be!
