I, for one, think this shows the character of this man.  Agree or disagree with what he did, he is not afraid to show his gratitude to our soldiers, rather than going around the world apologizing for the U.S.

I am so thankful for our great soldiers.  I am also thankful we had "W" for the time we did.  While there is lots of mixed opinion on the war one fact remains, the fight was waged on us. And it is far from over.
Respect is earned. Honesty is appreciated. Trust is gained. Loyalty is returned.
