Last night I was sitting out on my back deck as some thunderstorms were rolling in, and got to thinking about the summer coming to an end.  It didnt seem or feel that its almost over, especially with some record setting temps here over the last 4-5 days.  And last night could have passed for a night of July or Aug, but Sept it is.  How was everyone else's summer?  I know mine was pretty good as a whole, got a lot done and had a lot of good times.  Thought Id share some pics from over the summer, maybe some of you would like to as well, hope you all enjoy.
Out in the woods in the spring.

Nice pictures John. Climbed bald mountain earlier this year. Looking forward to going up there in the fall. I think summer is pretty much gone, weatherman said on the radio that we are going to have lake effect rain for the next few days. Was cold in the woods this morning, kinda nice not being eatin alive by bugs. Then the rain came and we had to stop because of mud. Summer seemed to fly by this year.

Thanks Mark, ya I noticed the bugs are a lot better lately too.  Planning on clinbing Bald Mtn again too.  My brother was taking a break, but he sure did his part, and that day was late spring, only about 50 degrees out.  Ill try to throw up some more pics tomorrow.

Ive been to the Wigwam there a few times also.  I also like the White Lake Inn, nice view out onto the lake.  I wish we had a little more summer to go here Don K, but up here the warm months just dont last all that long.  Heres a few more pics of the lake.

Had to have some work in between the relaxing and fun...some of the woodpile I got done while up this summer.

8) Now I guess we will have to hope for a nice fall before the winter gets here.

Nice pics John.

Won't be long and the weather will switch up here too.

Quite a few of the deer have shed their summer coats and got their dark ones already.
