I had to replace the plastic light lens cover on the front of the e2300.  Price wasn't too bad, roughly $13.00.  So I decided to take the part number off the front of the lens and what a surprise.  The same lens was original equipment for a 1960-1969 Cadillac Fog Light Option.  They are selling them for $30.

I am always looking for the parts locally, either Grainger or even a Home Cheapo, this one doesn't show up.

The front door gasket was about $60 for the kit which is the silicone adhesive and the fiber style square gasket.  Haven't found that locally either.

The 2 new free bars that CB has sent to the dealers for customers, one is nothing but a Stanley flat prybar and the other looks to be made locally.

Before you order the door gasket set inspect your door.  Any sign of warping may means a bad door.  I was starting to have occasional smoke around the door seal so I figured I would adjust the door and order a seal to have on hand.  Dealer instructed me to check the door.  It had some warp, so he said it needed  to be replaced.  The door is a warranty item but as we are used to, not the labor.

Yea my door is fine, problem was that I left the door open last year way too long with flames and it melted the gasket on the inside of the door.  A good thing is that there is enough left over after replacing that I can now use it as a patch of ever needed.

How long is the door warrantied for?

I do not know.  I did not even know my door was bad until I put a straight edge to it.  Then I found it had a slight warp 1/4 to 3/8th of an inch, but enough that a screw driver would fit behind it.
