Hello again friends. When I have purchased Norwood saw mill did not purchase the trailer package, because I already have built the trailer package. Now I wanted to build carriage lock. It is difficult to travel on road without carriage lock, could some one guide to few ideas about carriage lock.

My Timber Harvester simply has a hinged piece of steel that flips up and bolts through the carriage base. It is shown here with one bolt in but loose and the other hole sans bolt. There is another like it on the opposite side.

I apologize that the photo is not better, this is from my gallery and meant to show the chain drive and I cannot get to the mill to get a better shot.

My LT10 has a hole in the track that you just put a bolt through.

Here's how I did it.  After installing dual axles (from harbor freight trailer kits), I installed two longer bolts in spring holes to hold angle on bottom and then a few angles to lap over top of LM2000 (see picture).  Important to keep it aligned with track so it doesn't hop off.  See gallery pics and read descriptions.  Hope that helps.  If you don't have dual axles, just use holes in bottom of LM2000 track and an extra angle.  I use some rubber padding so it doesn't mar the LM2000 frame and the coupler is welded to the bolt so I only have to keep up with one piece from each side of mill when using.  Lower bolt is tack welded to underside of lower angle so It stays in place.
