anybody got one? are they any good? i can get one ready to go for $1000. i can also get a 1996-2004? CTR 42 for $2500.

did you price bars and chains for it yet? youll need a chain grinder also. bet youll find bars are over $500

i have a model 1500 i use almost every day if u let the oiler run out of oil it takes a while for it to purge the air and start oiling again no other problems the manufacturer [farm equipment co. asheville nc] went out of business a few years ago but bars chains and sprockets are available from baileys most everything else is standard gresen hydraulics the model 1000 saws are obsolete u can tell them because they used1/2 pitch chain which isn't available anymore hope this helps

if i get this saw hookup, should i put a bigger pump on it to make it easier on the loader, sawbuck cut quicker,etc
