Hey Joe, Is it a diamond abrasive?

I like the Pfered files for hand sharpening.  They just seem to be smoother and last longer?

I do like jigs.  Humans are variable and machines are steady.  Jigs keep this human stable!

Kderby,

I dont think so.
Because it uses regular chain files.
It is a big improvement over the previous Chainsharp, where you needed to flip the files over each time you had to do the opposite cutters, or, you need two of them.
This one os more like a 'Two in One'.
It has two round files (for the cutters) and a flat file (for the depth gauges)
Now to do the opposite side cutters all you need to do is turn the Chainsharp over on its other side.
Minimum extra effort now.

Joe, I have the previous version, where you have to flip the file to do the other side teeth. Even then, I love it, and I can sharpen my 72 link chain in less than 5 minutes. I also use the Pferd files, they seem to last forever.
