How much should I ask for my 36" Appalachian Stove fireplace insert?

We got a Central Boiler outdoor wood burner last fall and had our old wood burning insert removed since we no longer needed it to heat with.  Put in a cute little gas log stove just to have some flames to look at when the mood strikes.  Anyway, it is a very good stove, it heated our whole house pretty much, but with the usual wood stove disadvantage of being 80 in the den and 60 in the bedrooms.  It was bought in 1983 or 1984 by my granddaddy, and used pretty much every winter since then.  The only thing I need to do is replace the fan switch, which the App stove lady said they cost about $15, but I'm lazy and probably won't do it.  Just wondering what I should ask for it.  It cost over $1200 back then and was top line, same size today costs about $2300.  Also, where should I list it, craigslist, ebay, etc?

Thanks

Home Security telemarketer:  Hi, we are offering free installation in your area through the end of the month, and we would . . .
Me, interrupting:  We have dogs and guns, we're good.

Do a telephone auction and list it in "IWANNA" in WNC. They have a website.

State that you are going to sell it on a given date. Prior to that date give address and time for people to inspect the stove.

Keep records, phone numbers, etc.
