Does any one have a 17" wide 48" long one inch walnut board?  I need one for araised panel on a  cabinet door . All of mine are less than 16" .  It would be nice to have one with a bit of figure to it , but straight grain will work also.

Don, Yes,but I think shipping would be more than the cost of the board itself >:(

There are a couple in the 20" wide range in the back ground behind the bench, most have crotches on them. have you looked local. Tim

Beenthere , that one is perdy . I don't need 6/4  could you cut some 1/4" veneers off ?   That would make some nice panels for insterment panels and still have enough to make the raised panel for the kitchen.

T. W .  , Shipping would still be cheaper than driving out to get it. ;D  Crotch wood would be prefered .

Don, Let me get to the shop and I will chalk the measurements on it and take a picture for you front and back. I believe its a center cut 8/4 piece, not sure! I cut those walnuts about 2 years ago and they would be down in the 10 to 15 percent moisture range. they where brought inside the wood shop right away and stacked the way you see them in the picture. Don I dont know if you can see the measurements in the pic or not and truthfully these may not be the piece in the picture, they came from the same log and I know I have all of them, some are in 4/4 and the center cuts are in 8/4. PM me if you are interested, Tim
