I have been reading and learning from the Forestry Forum members for while now and I am curious about who came up with the idea for the forum, how it got started, why it was started, when it began, and how the origninal members were assembled.  I was unable to find this information after doing several searches.
Thank you to all who make the Forestry Forum possible.

Hey Jeff, would that make a good link to add to the top? I feel it's a real good read for new members or just to read so we don't forget. Just shows the humble beginning to something great.
