Over the years a couple of members have gotten torqued out of shape but it's all in good fun. The first time I saw it I couldn't understand the fuss, I thought it was normal. :D

If someone got bent over Yooper night, it wasn't me. After I found out what was going on, I thought it was pretty cool!
However when I first started reading on the Forum, everything read as usual.....but the very next "split second" everything changed in the text.
The first thing I thought was VIRUS!!!
I ran 2 scans on my MAC and everything was fine.
Then I emailed Jeff and he sent the explanation.
I never knew there was a Yooper night....but I learn something everyday on here!

Yeah, I thought there was a virus, too! That's the scary part. Then when I found out, it was all funny. It's one of those things, like "if you have to explain it, it isn't funny anymore!" But I get it now. And, come on, Jeff, redneck naht could be real fun! It's a southern thang!  8)

Its also about the history of the forum. Yooper night goes back to our roots and is part of this forum's fabric, anything else would be a pale facsimile.  You don't get redneck here but you do get grits. ;)
