Out doing a little cooking this morning and couldn't believe what a beautiful day it's going to be.

How are the rest of you spending the day?

Ahhh you are a member of the big green cult.  :D I love my egg.

Just talked the neighbor into one. When I asked how he liked it, he got this kinda dunk/in-love glassey eyed look and began to  recount the meals of the last week... I think they may have been a touch of drool too.

Setting up to be a real nice one here in Va. too. Not to warm, but it will be nice if you're in the sun, or doing a bit of work.

off to work, just another day.  hope people are not too demanding.  lot of wanty people today not many needy people.  just another day of cussing ,demanding.  a lot of people work strange days and hours of the night in various employments.  as you enjoy your Easter please remember these people in your prayers especially when you hear a siren.

Very nice place you have there Norm. I did not see a house close enough to you to enjoy the smell of your cooking.  :) Nice JD too!

Today is Easter and also my Son's 10th birthday. To celebrate Jesus and my Son's birthday together is really special.  :)

Norm, mornings like that make life so enjoyable. We are having the family over for dinner including five girls under the age of 12. Grandma is going to be busy, ooops just got told grandpa will be very busy too. :D

We just an awesom meal in downtown Santa Fe. Nuthin like a chorizo burrito with green chili to get a day started!
Why not just 1 pain free day?

Church (Catholic mass) was at 11:00 am.  After mass, our small parish community of 46 enjoyed a dinner the parishoners had brought.  Wow, what a feast.  A mixture of German, Mexican and Soul food.  It's great to break bread with your friends.

Spending time with good friends and eating well.  It is a beautiful Easter Day here, too.  :)

Launched my electric bass boat at dawn on the reservoir.  Breathtaking morning here.  Nice day fishing.  Had the whole lake mostly to myself.  Back home now for late afternoon Easter supper.  What's not to like?

What are you cooking Norm? We're not even in the Cooking Board and the posts are making me hungry. :)

We partially delayed Easter by a day due to an early start on livestock work Easter Sunday, in the afternoon my inlaws came over for a BBQ and a sit in the sun. The night before we went to a house warming BBQ at a neighbours farm, the new house is clad in Eucalyptus flitches left after the Lucas mill cut the dimensional timber, exposed beams and natural poles throughout.

Monday 6:30am here and the morning kicked off with an Easter egg hunt, 6yrs old Angus has already found enough to make him sick for a month. Bacon and eggs to follow, then I am welding up a cattle ramp.

Hope you all have a good one.

Started by cooking breakfast with the rest of the guys for our little church then pretty well spent the rest of the day with my family, now it's back out to check cows again.  A little windy earlier but a great day all in all.

We had a children's drama followed by our Easter service.  Our noon meal and all afternoon has been a fun filled family occasion.  Only one "four leaf clover" found this year.
