Topography:  Topography is gently to moderately sloping and offers reasonable logging conditions.

Estimated Acres:  52 acres of marketable hardwood timber.  70 acres by deed.

Total Volume:   125,000 board feet, Doyle Rule, Form Class 78
          540 tons hardwood pulpwood
          237 tons of pine pulpwood

SPECIES      VOLUME       AVE. VOL/TREE

Misc. Red Oak       37,000         110
White Oak       34,000           77
Hickory          20,000           70
Scarlet Oak       18,000         130
Yellow Poplar       11,000         190
Blackgum         4,000           40
Redcedar         1,000           10
_______________________________________________________
Total All:        125,000           90

Hardwood Pulpwood                                       540 tons
Pine Pulpwood                                                    237 tons

Misc. Hardwoods includes Elm, Sassafras and Hackberry.

If marketed properly, I estimate the standing value of all timber to be worth $29,230.00 +/- 5%.  This is the amount the landowner could expect to receive from a properly conducted sale.

Welcome, duck2600. Quite a jump in details from first post to second :D It looks like you have a good handle on what your timber is worth, just a matter of finding a reputable logger.

I hope your able to get that figure. The average tree size is pretty small for there to be much value in the sawlogs beyond ties and pallet. In this market I'd be surprised if the logs delivered would bring much over 40k and pulp selmdom brings much over $2-$4 a ton standing.

duck, welcome to the forum. Who ever you choice check out past jobs. They should be busy too. If you have to wait 4-6 months to have them get to you that is good.
