Thats crazy! I had on long johns, blue jeans, and bib-overalls on today, and was still cold. Seems like it is one extreme or another.

Good luck with that, Chris. oz_smiley  I'll be sitting in a treestand tomorrow morning with temps around 20 and windchill at about 13. :'(  But honestly I'll take that over your heat nearly any day of the week (ask me again the end of Feb ;)).  I can't stand the heat.  Ask my wife, I rarely set foot in the kitchen. ;) :) :D

Mate 43 deg! you can keep that, we were still in the 20's here in Glen Innes today. :) I went to Armidale (Not far from your new venture) for our annual Rangers meeting and Christmas BBQ, it was pretty hot under the iron skillion roof where the barby was cooking but nothing like you guys got.

Gday

Its not too bad but i have the feeling we are going to get alot hotter as yeasterday broke the record for november  and the grass and crops have already turned and we usally dont see the real hot days till jan feb hooest day on record round here was  about 122 :) :) I do love summer no getting trucks, loaders n gear bogged long days spring summer and autum are the time to get stuff done  ;) ;D ;D 8) plus markets are always soft in winter round here unless your doing firewood  ;)

Fellas I have only worked in the snow a handfull of times been sking and to the snow afew more I dont mind being cold either as you can always rug up  ;)

Frank Im thinking of getting about 4 of those water mister fans for the mill shed down here I like em  ;) and plenty of water during the week and beer or two on the weekends  ;) the way I work during summer is first thing in the morning from 5-6am to lunch 12 to 1 pm have a shower get cleaned up n refreshed have a feed n get on The Forum or do office work (generally both at the same time  ;) ) Or Nap  ;) :D ;D  then back out for an evening run from 4 or 5 till 9-10pm  you get a power of work done in a day that way Mate in 10 to 12 working hours and i do 6 or 7 day weeks during summer too   ;) ;D ;D 8)

Yeah Wildog you do get abit better milder weather and alot more rain up there in the hills  ;)dad was up there on monday helping the Contractor and Forestor with specifics on grade as they are pandandic about getting this rite which is a bloody nice change as they know what they are doing and they are awesome to deal with  :) :)  ;D ;D 8) first shipments of logs for the building line will be down by next week i think  we are the only blokes i know of in Australia buying upto 27' in pine A grade sawlog and hauling home on a 2400 mile round trip and there's plans of bringing down 48' A grades with 12" tops still going to have to send one of the sawmills up there for the lower grades of log that dont have a home atm Mate  ;)
