Im looking for some pics of the band wheel crowns on the AC36 since the 36 runs the same size that i have, or the 32, as long as they are all steel. 

Id like to see which direction the crown faces in relation to the gullet.

This pic shows the location of the crown by the wear on the wheel (shiny part). The crown center is about 1/3 of the wheel width from its leading edge. Cooks re-crowned the wheels about 5 to 6 years ago and they moved the crown center to its present location. I use 1.25" bands and tracking is fine. I set the tracking so the bottom of the gullet is at the leading edge of the wheel. Is this what you need to know?

I also have a MP-32 mill.  These wheels are just as they came on the mill 2 years ago.  Hopefully this shows what you are looking for.

I cant see which direction the crown sheds/tappers towards.

Too my eyes it looks too be centered.

 

 
My wheel wear is all on the outboard side of wheel.
I like my gullets a little more outboard on wheels than specs call for,
Back of blade tracks about 3/16"  from guide roller flange.
Probably about 3/16" of  downward blade Deflection.
This all may explain my wear on the steel wheels.
Everything is working great and life of blades seems normal.

Nice thing about Cooks design is you have very accurate adjustments too get guide rollers plumb and they stay plumb.
Still learning my mill and keep eyes on blade wear top and bottom of teeth.
Cutting speed is my biggest hurdle
Some logs saw faster than others.

As previously mentioned, about 1/3 of the width of the wheel, from the front edge, is where the crown starts, and shedding rearward with greatest amount of space at the back of the wheel, compared to the front. Similar to your wheels. 
I guess they are right. Ill proceed with the build and order a single band and go from there. If it tracks right, ill order more, if not, ill order some different wheels.

I had no idea that you had converted from your TK and went with the Cooks AC36.  How do you like it?  Did you drive down and get it?
