First, since this past Friday, the Pecan trees are popping out.

And the Second,  when Pat called and asked, "what kind of snake is..........."   :o

only have a few chain saws I'm not suppose to use, but will at times, one dog Dolly, pretty good dog, just not sure what for yet,  working on getting the gardening back in order, and kinda thinking on maybe a small bbq bizz,  thinking about it,

Killed first tick after I got it unattached from my skin.  Bad sign of spring.
I am in the pink when sawing cedar.

Hate ticks. Farm has gozillions. Also chingers (little Spanish lingo). Actually they call them chinches del campo, which translates to crab lice of the outback.

Tree Feller

The Dogwood blooms are in decline...they were really spectacular this year, the Oak trees around my house are budding, my Sweet Corn is about 8" high, the forecasted temp for tomorrow is 85f and the MLB season is well underway. ( go Rangers) Yep, it's spring.   ;D

Knee high by the fourth of May, huh?

Spring arrived over night here in SC. Thursday, it was raining and in the low 30's. Today should top 80. It's been a wet, cool winter, so everyone is eager for the warm weather. The flowering trees are late- the dogwoods are just starting to open, a good 2 weeks late. I've had bluebirds dukeing it out over our bird house- the first bluebirds I've seen in 40+ years! Lizards are out; birds all over the place, and the trees are leafing out like mad. Ahhhh- Spring!
I hope my ship comes in before the dock rots!

We had 3 inches of snow 2 days ago, and the maple sugaring is just starting.
