The wife has a dog,1½ years old,I can't get out of the house without her wanting to come. No matter the weather, pouring rain, snowing, below zero, she is coming with me. I get to the door and she somehow knows I'm going outside. My wife will hollar, here she comes. My dog was never like that. He would wait for me to call him and than come a running. He don't mind going out in the snow and rain, but I have to call him. He won't go out in it just because he wants too.

Our dogs love being outside when they come to the cabin. They will stand, or lay down, right beside me when I'm running the saw. If we're at The Beach, they run from the vacuum cleaner and the lawn mower. I can't figure out those two. ::)

David,

That reminded me of Scarlet, my bloodhound.  I really miss her when I am milling.  Thanks for the post.  It is a very nice memory.

Mine will bowl you over to get out the first. He is almost 7 months old now and is full of pith and vinegar. Its great to see she has her place right in the sun. Mine woke me up this morning by jumping on the bed and laying down right between the wife and I,then laid his head down on the pillow and started licking my face, like saying wake up dad its time to play :D Tim

That is what dogs do best. Always had a dog when I was a kid but until I met Karen never had any pets of my own. Never had a yard where they could run.
Now I have two neurotic dogs and a cat with an attitude. ;D The cat and one dog sleep on the bed, the other dog prefers a blanket on the floor but as soon as I wake she is moaning to be picked up. At 11 she can no longer jump. She stays there till 11, what a slackard. Hard to imagine life without them now.

If I go outside, Icey goes with me. She lives to go outside and I feel its my duty to let her do just that. If someone (Tammy) goes outside with out asking her to go, She immediately comes and gets me, and gives me the  "HEY! She went outside! I'm still in here! What gives??" look and dance.
I can change my profile okay. No errors. If you can,t remove all the extra info in other fields and try.
