Oh...... that is what I really want!!

There have been some nice threads on mill-shed planning....

My "baby" is sitting outside until I have a new shed planned and built.... but I want to really study and try to plan my shed with some forethought... I am only going to do this once so I had better get it right!!!

Your back has to LOVE the new addition!  :D

Green ties are dangerous because their right at the upper limit of what a fella should try to lift, if they were larger you wouldn't be tempted to try. Frank C.

What are the dimensions of your ties?

and what kind of oak are you using?

We have a LOT of oak here right now due to oak wilt... but that is ok! The floors are all going to be oak and now we have decided to use oak stickers since we have so many flitches!!!

I just looked at your pics again.... it feels like everyone has a nice shed for their mills - but me!!!  :'(  LOL!

Those ties are 7 x9 x 9 ft
some are red oak some white oak   some hickory  and some beach .

That building was build for a LT15  and has been added onto over the years .  it is now 65 ft long .

Looks like a good setup, and that loader is up to the job.  It is a pain not to be able to move at least ten ties at a time.  Any plans for a live deck?
