Yeeehawwwww new tail man !

I have never realy kept a good BF tally on the saw jobs I have done so far . I know I did good on a couple but I was never impressed with my hourly yield . As I mentioned in a previous thread I have been over on this farm mostly nites after work etc . getting frustrated because the logs are so so etc and I had no help . I called this young kid I know 21 22 yrs old ,built like a freakin moose ! Asked if he wanted to tail for me . He jumped at it ! In 6 hours of work together we did 1837 BF includeing culling bad logs and scraping logs that turned out to be bad ! I am very pleased ! So far I have sawed over 3100 bf and figure I will get another 1000 or so out of whats left ! I just feel really great about this !

sometimes you get a good one,  I think there are more good kids that want to work hard than not.

Congrats on the new help.  Today it can be hard to find young adults that will do a hard days work.

There are a lot of Kids who want to work....but its a shame. there are not as many chances now as there used to be.

A good tailer is worth more than most get paid!

I have a nephew tailing my mill whenever the customer isn't helping and I think he could out tail two average men!

I have two boys that I can't get to work when I need it. They live with their Mom. I shore wish they would on the weekends it would make up for a lot of lost time during the week for me.
