I have a Stihl 660 worksaw that I would like to have a high performance rebuild done on.
Any recommendations?

are you looking for pointers for diy or looking to send it out to one of use that do it for a living?

Get a dual outlet muffler, gut the internal baffle and port match it to the cylinder, a port job, the squish cut, and the timing advanced. An 8 pin ring is nice on the clutch to get the chain speed up but if you are running a bar longer than 42in stick with the 7pin, and the new Stihl hd2 air filters flow better than the old one by far so upgrade to one of those as well. You will have a real good running saw with that all done. ;)

Send it to Terry. I have had about 8 of his saws and they are all VERY impressive.

Thanks for the feedback, I talked to Terry (wickedworksaw) and I am going to send it to him so he can work his magic on it.
Anybody have any experience using Cannon bars??
