a saw mills job is to make rough swan lumber!!it does not make s4s lumber< a kiln makes dry rough swan lumber, it takes a jointer and planer to make s4s lumber

My goal is to saw as smooth as possible rough cut so customers have as little surfacing as possible.  Some have been able to sand to a fine surface. 

It doesn't always work out.  A tooth or teeth get over set/bent or the slight deviation due to a knot are always possible.

The more uniform the lumber and close it is to customer specifications the better.
