Been kicking aroud the idea of updatng my skidder, anyone ever had any exsperance with Lakeshore Equipment in Wakefeild Michigan ? At my age I probably need my head checked but on the flip side logging keeps it screwed on straight  ;D

I bought a Timbco thru Don @ lakeshore and he seemed pretty good. Most of the stuff he sells is pretty good, a few other dealers up there youve gotta watch.

Wish I had work for that Q80 they've got ;D

OH logger

I 've got a  machine for you. its a 1979 cat 525 skidder that would probly run when I get the motor gone thru. the tranny knocks a little but I think thay all do that :-\. the tires are a  strong 5%. I just painted the gem bright orange (so the deer hunters don't shoot it). I even think I have the winch around here somewhere. in fact I think its out in the scrap pile behind the barn under the skidder blade. I sold the grapple for 500 bucks for beer money. (you have to be a little tipsy to drag cable to trees all day.) this would make someone an awesome machine. all it needs is logs to pull!!!!!!!any ways I hope this skidder is what you are looking for. I was hoping to get approximately  $87,547 for it. just make me an offer I can't refuse

If you didn't have friends to give you a hard time what else is there  ;). After talking with a few dealers I believe I'll keep my machine looking at a $65,000. machine and the best offer I could get was 15,000. What hurt it most was the detroit instead of cummins. I have 128 hour on the detroit and transmission rebuild I know the machine inside and out. What I was looking for was a few gears more instead of just three, plus air and heat didn't hurt anything eather  :D.

it not that big a job to put heat in. ac is a little more involved. i put a new ac unit in the rottne. used the old compresser and condenser, it works good

snowstorm
