We got this email alittle while ago:

The system montioring the raid-1 array on your server is reporting that a drive has failed out of it. We would like to coordinate the replacement of the drive at a time that is convenient to yourself.
I have asked them to do it after 9pm and it will be down for a couple hours.

Im sitting at Detout harbor so I can get online for a moment. I'll fix the search from here.  The drive failure is part of one of our backup systems. That has nothing to do with getting on line. I don;t know if the down time for replacement is actually tonight. i'm a bit out of touch here since they decommissioned out verizon tower to start up the new one that is 8 miles closer to us, but points the other way. Zero service now.
