20 below zero night. I don't think I will even go to the woods today. With the waist deep snow and those temps not much will be accomplished anyway. Haven't seen a winter like this in a long time.

9 to 14" of snow coming and minus 5 for the temp now. my next job is two miles away and i am driving the skidder there during the storm. I'll put my orange SMV sign on it and grab my farm plate and save $150.00 on this one. I need to invest in a trailer again, these small distance moves kill me and getting the trucker can be tough when he has alot of plow accounts.

ALOHA  ya all- The pinapple express arrived from the southwest yesterday. After 8 mornings at -20 F or below, I woke this morning to +33 F and fore cast to go to low 40s all week.  The entire PNW is a lot warmer , but WETTERwith rain and snow.
