They were clearing some land a few miles away so I stopped and ask if I could have some Oak logs that were in a pile of debris.
They even loaded them with a large Track Hoe.
He did chew the one up trying to lift it before I brought out a chain.
The Hoe didn't have a Thumb.

There MUST be an easier way to ad pics but I sure can't find it! I have added them but that was a week ago and that memory is long gone!

This should do it,If they are in your album.

I like to go to whatever post or start a new topic first to include a picture.Go to your gallery,it will open in a new window.Click onto your album, then click onto whatever picture you want,it will get bigger, than scroll down a little to find,Insert Image In Post, click onto that, click Yes and that is it. Some have to copy/paste the link to work.I like to hit the enter key at least once or twice to move the picture down away from what I am typing. The enter key really helps to leave some white space if posting more than one picture. Somewheres I think it says to add 10,000 to your user number or something like that to make a clickable icon to your gallery under your user name. Use the preview button to see how it looks and modify it if needed

And if you want to keep this,Bookmark it.

Those should be enough to give your mill a bit of a workout. ;D  Ought to be a fun!

Logs brutalized with an excavator  are tough to mill they tend to have splits small stones and grit ground in deep. Be sure to check them well, I was given a massive pile and only a few were millable. Frank C.

nomad, thanks for dragging the pics from cyber purgatory!

bandmiller2, I figure these will give me some practice and I can make some cribbing for setting the mill.

I will need to hit them with the pressure washer.
And my trusty 25 year old 14" Mac chainsaw seems to have shrunk? I'm looking at new Echo's. So much for a cheap mill to play with.
