Has anyone ever used a 20' reefer box for a kiln chamber?  I have found an older reffer box in good condition pulled off the truck and the refrigeration unit has been removed.  I am thinking about converting it to a kiln chamber for my Nyle 200 but am worried about corrosion and such. Any input?

NYLE has some instructions for how to do this.  It works well.

I know a guy who did it... he had one comment. Next time it will have a cart & track system.

Having to carry each board into the chamber to load, and then out to unload is a big pain he said.

I am considering almost the same thing. I have access to a 20' metal shipping container. It's the kind they use on ships to ship overseas. It's completely steel with waterproof plywood on the floor. The doors seal well and nothing leaks. I was thinking about cutting a hole in the side of it and install a kiln. You guys said nyle makes one? I'll have to look that up. Any suggestions?

Does anyone here have a picture of a cart and track system that they use on the shipping containers like you where talking about?
