Yesterday I had 16 youths (and a few adults) come visit my saw mill. We talked about Trees, Logs and lumber for about an hour and a half. They were Exploring careers in the Forestry industry through Cornell University. I did not get pictures as I was busy teaching, learning and sawing but I did get a half gallon of Arnot Forest Maple Syrup!! What a great group of young folks!

I can't say how much appreciation I have for folks like you, not much in the forestry industry around here, our kids are pretty much about animals/gardens etc. but I see every week the time these 4H leaders and volunteers put into helping the kids for nothing but the satisfaction of doing it.  My hats off to you for helping out!

The seeds that you planted in those young inquiring minds will continue to grow dividends.   :P
