Anyone else heard anything about people buying up all the 240s as possible and shipping them to Russia?

Not sure on the jacks but about every year there is a group from either South America or Eastern Europe buying every decent piece of farming equipment they can.  I think it has more to do with the exchange rate than anything else.

Theres a guy here in NY that does that. He buys all 200 series TJ's. Ships them all overseas. He wanted to buy my 225 after it burned.

I have a friend that makes a nice living sending logging equipment to South America.  He buys them in auctions or directly, moves them to his warehouse to refurbish, and then on a container they go and most are to Argentina or Brazil I believe.  He's even gotten into buying small planes they use for transport and scouting.

Yes a number of cable TJs have gone to eastern Europe from around these parts, also some 518 cats have gone the same way - as we have moved heavily into mechanized CTL logging, cable skidders are a dime a dozen.

Back in 2008 when the machines prices were very low in the area, we shippped a bunch of cable skidders to Chile. We had to move inventory, and weren't going to do it locally.

After giving this some thought I have decided to take advantage of this and send these two. What do I have to loose?  If anybody knows the address to ship them to or the contact info for the buyer please let me know, the middle one is not going and just don't let my wife know.   :D
