I've been planing up my parts for the base. I'm using some of my cherry hoard from the basement. I've got a special twist I'm going to add to the base, if it all works the way I want. I tested a piece of scrap with some Tung oil, looks pretty good. I know the cherry is going to darken with age, but I don't think you can stop that.

So your special twist is adding to the base? What will this accomplish? Inquiring minds would like to know!! :D
