ridewot,welcome to the forum.
Just about got the picture thing. This is all that you are missing.

I like to go to whatever post or start a new topic first to include a picture.Go to your gallery,it will open in a new window.Click onto your album, then click onto whatever picture you want,it will get bigger, than scroll down a little to find,Insert Image In Post, click onto that, click Yes and that is it. Some have to copy/paste the link to work.I like to hit the enter key at least once or twice to move the picture down away from what I am typing. The enter key really helps to leave some white space if posting more than one picture. Somewheres I think it says to add 10,000 to your user number or something like that to make a clickable icon to your gallery under your user name. Use the preview button to see how it looks and modify it if needed.

The Forestry Forum is not like "other sites".  ;D   fortunately. ;)

As thecfarm says, go to your post and click modify button. Then bring up your gallery pic, and SCROLL down under that pic to see the couple of choices for easy posting in your modified thread.

Nothing difficult, just not the same routine found elsewhere.

Have this older saw and need a brand name for it ??    https://forestryforum.com/gallery/displayimage.php?pid=161542#top_display_media

Old Sears, possibly by Roper, that someone gave a new red paint job.
Over 40 old magnesium runners.  Plei Trapp Valley Duck!!! Club.

It looks like a 3.7 cu inch Sears /Roper .Actually a fairly powerfull saw for 60 cc .

My father had several which he managed to twist the crankshafts off because he kind of souped them up .Annoyed him so much he bought a McCulloch PM 610 which now resides in my shed .His last Roper found its way to Lousiville KY at my brothers and is still running .He left that one stock---well sort of . ;D

Possibly a Root? It looks too small to be a Power Bee/ Chrysler 820 motor.
Heck of a saw if it.
