I needed a more efficient way of dragging logs out of the woods and to try to keep them fairly clean in the process, so I built this grapple for my 40hp New Holland seems to work pretty well and it's surprising how much it will pick up without lifting the front tires.

That is a really nice grapple.  You have great welding skills.  Looks pretty beefy so it will last.  What do you guess the weight lift limit to be?

Nice looking rig, how did you decide the distance from the grapple to the three point?

Nice job. Were the parts CNC plasma cut?

Thanks for the kind words...
NHMIKE...Not sure how much it will lift, it will carry a whole 10/12" 30' Birch tree with no problem... which suprised me!
r.man.... I would like to tell you how smart i am......but i'm not!! I had 10' of tubing cut the bottom cross bar, the riser and used the rest on the boom, which came out about 5.5'
21incher.... Yes I have a small CNC plasma table and I do my own Powder Coating!
