It just dawned on me while reading here, that if i didn't already have my woodmizer i would really be itchen to get a mill, any mill, if i was reading the posts here on a regular basis.  I would be eatin, walkin and sleepin- I gotta get me a mill.  would be drivin my lovely wife crazy, would be scoutin the sale papers, would be takin trips to see and try.  would be goin to the bank and to dad looking for some seed money. :D boy am i glad i got one before i got here :D

I'm glad you do too !   Now if you could convince all these dang people that want me to saw for them to buy one, you will have really done something.  Came home the other day and there sat 3 walnut logs my neighbor had dropped off for me to saw "when I have time"....

WM1, you just don't know how true your words are.  I found THE forum before I found my mill, and I just can't tell you how much inspiration this group provided.  I have "wanted" a mill for many years, but, until I found this forum, it was just a pipe dream. Now, I have a good machine sitting in my barnyard, with sawdust scattered all around it, and a tiny pile of slabs(tomato stakes) sitting behind it. I'll sleep good tonight. ???

One of my neighbors has a Woodmizer video. I didn't know til today that he was logging for my in-laws- and I mentioned the forum- gave him the webref- and then we got to talking about mills. He said he was going to waatch it and then let me borrow it.   lw
