stihl 036 artic

I bought a )36 artic off fleabay in a box. I put everything back together, it was missing element in handle, I found one,but both wires from saw have male ends and element has one male and one female, is there something that goes in-between like a thermostate? If anyone has a wiring diagram they could post it whould be helpful. Thanks Doug.

I believe you are missing either the front or the back handle heating element (you should have two heating elements) If you Bing www.reinsmith.net/outdoor equipment stihl then scroll down to pdf stihl 034/036/036QS chainsaw-reinsmith.net, click on that and you will be able to download the complete service manual for free.

Ok, I just found out when you click on www.reinsmith.net/outdoor in my last post, you will then have to click on "return to the home page" then click on "manuals and documents" at the top, scroll down to outdoor power equipment, click on that, then scroll down to stihl 034. Also there is a lot of other free power equipment manuals.
