I assume you mean any other forums. Its not a forum, but Forest Landowners of California has some pretty cool interactive stuff on management.

I'm sorry, I didn't realize that this forum specifically dealt with owners who personally manage their own small woodlots.

Raider Bill, this is totally unrelated to the woodlot forum post but I was wondering if you ever got your Kubota tractor back together?  I suppose you use it on your woodlot though.  I do not recall seeing a report after you were seeking advice on rejoining the halves.

You might try browsing through Cornel's Forest Connect web site. They've been doing a series of seminars on a wide variety of forest related subjects for some years now. You can participate in the seminars live if you are on when they are offered, or look through them on your own schedule, since they save recorded versions.

Nothing substitutes for having someone show you this sort of thing live and in person, but it's a place to start.

Okie Doke! Thanks, I'll check it out.
That's a good link! You're right about the instant pudding. This is a great website to learn from the pros.

Not yet.... Wild Bill and I attempted to get it replaced while we were in Tenn at Thanksgiving. Got everything pulled apart but when we were getting ready to reassemble Wild Bill noticed a crack in the new clutch disc. Because it was a special order only the tractor store couldn't get us another before we had to come back home.

So, we are both going to be there in March to getherdone.

This valve has us scratching out heads. We found a peice of what apprears to be a 1/4 O-Ring stuck on the end of it and no idea where it came from. Looking at the parts blowup there isn't a O-ring showing.
