So if a guy who deals with logs is a logger, and a guy who runs a saw is a sawyer, is a guy who runs a kiln a kilner?  (And if he dries many loads in his kiln, is he a serial kilner?   ;D )

Actually it was a semi-legit question.  Thought about it while filling out some medical paperwork for "occupation".  Sawyer is obvious, but "lumber drier in a kiln" is a mouthful.  And "dehumidifier" was already taken.  ;D

The only term I ever heard used is dry kiln opperator, he was the one in charge of adjustments to heat and or moisture as well as the schedule used to dry the load.Of course dry kiln opperator could be Canadian for kilner.
