Just about ready to start

Just about ready to start building my real log home. Am waiting for the delivery of my pacific red cedar as a sit here. Have to still level my sight (basically level ground anyway) and start my septic system. But at least this year a get to start.

I look forward to reading your adventures!  Good luck.  How long you figuring until ready to occupy.... not trying to jinx or pry.   We hope to start in next year of so with drive way.  then.....

I'm hoping to be in, covered and warm by the end of summer '17. It should take one summer to get stacked and the roof on. Then the finish work. But plenty to do before I get to stack. Gotta finish creating a 3/4 mile road just to get the cement truck in. But at least things will start getting checked off the list this year.
