Just eat right there. They will treat you right and you will leave thinking, I could work here just for the lunches.
Two LT70s, Nyle L200 kiln, 4 head Pinheiro planer, 30" double surface Cantek planer, Lucas dedicated slabber, Slabmizer, and enough rolling stock and chainsaws to keep it all running.

I finally got tired of searching the net for a used mill at a decent price.
Scott

So your LT15... going to join the current used market or sell it for a decent price?

I put it on craigslist at what I thought was a fair price.  It's an older LT15 13hp.  It has 20ft of bed and around 15-20 bands with it.  I made a power up and down for it with an electric drill.  Works great and you only use it if you want.  I priced it for $4250 expecting to hold steady at 4k.  I sold it in a couple of days to a guy from out of state. I told him a deposit would hold it but it couldn't leave until I got my new mill.  I bet I could have sold it 10 times.  Guess I sold it to cheap but I'm happy with what I got so that's all that matters.  I paid 3k for it 7 years ago.  I did add an extra bed though.  Another reason I bought a Woodmizer great resale.

Thanks for asking though.

I didn't even know they had a place to eat there.  I'm driving up from the St.Louis area and returning the same day.  I like to try locally owned restaurants when I'm out of town.  I can get chain stuff anytime.  Plus my brother is going with me.  You have to feed your help.

Much diffeant than the WM dealer here in Maine. They live so far out they almost have to pump sunlight in.

I thought grits and sawdust are equivalent (in terms of taste...)   :D

 :D :D

Apparent that you have tried both..  ;D

Put butter, salt and pepper, and plop a soft yolk egg in the middle, and the sawdust ain't too bad.

What tree species do you like the better?

I bought the same mill last year, and love it!  The extra horsepower is worth it.  Everything on that mill is nice, I just can't seem to get enough time to use it.  Good luck with it! ;D

Congrats Scott, you have just enough time with the 15 to build a new shed for baby so it will never spend a night out in the rain/snow. Frank C.

Congratulations on the new mill. Hope you enjoy it and am sure you will. If you eat out in Indy just be careful when you ask for cole slaw on your hot dog. Last time I did the lady put it on it and said "Okay, sounds disgusting to me but its your hot dog." Those people just don't know what they are missing.

I've got that covered Frank.  I have a 45x72 with a 16ft work height for my mill and firewood.  It's just a cover with no sides.  Works pretty good though.

On your way  home, up I-79, at exit 54, you can drop the mill off in the park and ride. I can check it out, make sure everything works as it should and for you free. It will be ready for your pick-up in 2-3 years. Really, congrats on your buy.
