Stihl MS290 stalling

I have a MS290 that has seen little use. Recently, it will begin to stall when in use. It seems to be too intermittent to diagnose. I have already changed the fuel pickup line in the tank as it was cracked. Is this a common Stihl issue?  Any suggestions are appreciated. Thanks.

could be some gunk in carb, try giving it a good cleaning, or better a rebuild kit. Good luck.

Make sure you are using good fuel. The ethenol crap is just that!!

Turns out it was just the fuel pickup line, which was bent in such a way that it would not pick up fuel when held sideways. Easy fix! Thanks for your suggestions.
