got back to the mill after the monsoon here, back to my head scratching on just what the target will be, I have some stubborn knots that are affecting just how I want to slice it up and how thick, but the figure is pretty nice,

this one is the face with the knot where that healed up bulge was, I knew it would go deep, and it is a bit hard

again phone camera stinks, but an eye for it will see the beauty
only have a few chain saws I'm not suppose to use, but will at times, one dog Dolly, pretty good dog, just not sure what for yet,  working on getting the gardening back in order, and kinda thinking on maybe a small bbq bizz,  thinking about it,

Nice log.

Do you have a periodic squirt of blade lube that gives the repeated mark across the sawn face?  Hard to imagine how it is part of the grain color pattern.

Yes the coolant was running, maybe too much? but better more than less the way I see it, this is blow down from maybe 5 years ago, just beautiful, even made a deal to barter some, sent some pics to Christy in Wisconsin she now wants a  farm style dinner table, so now I am in a quandary,  again, just got to love it,  the next log will really be sweet, although it has a bad split in it from the fall, so, the morning will tell more about this story.

All these beautiful pictures of walnut are killing me.

Wanna know what's killing me? Chester Co., PA is CHOCK FULL of black walnut, and only 10 miles away from me. But it's all under quarantine due to TCD.......  :'(
