I have a 1970 225 timberjack My question is on the outside of planatary cover there are 12 nuts in a circle and about an inch in from the 12 nuts there are another circle of 8 nuts do i remove just the 12 nuts to take the cover off or do i need to take off the 8 nuts also i am just putting silicon on the inside of cover plate to stop a small oil leak? Thanks for any help you guys can give me.

i don't know eaton but all the others you only take off the outer ones.

The 8 bolts should be a cover plate and pin retainer. The 12 will be the spider that the whole planetary assembly is in.
